When are the games?

Sunday games are generally at 3 PM at Whitney Field on Mead Avenue. There are often other games during week at various other fields around town, including the complex of fields on Powder House Road. For specific game times, please call 803-643-3611. Game times and schedules change frequently due to weather and other circumstances.

How do I get to Whitney Field?

Whitney Field is on Mead Avenue in the downtown horse district. (Click here for directions to Whitney Field).

How much does it cost to come to polo?

Admission to Sunday polo costs $5 per person. If you would like to join the party in the Social Tent, admission is $20. Tickets are available at the field.

What should I wear?

Polo can be as casual or as dressy as you like. Some people dress up, but many are in jeans and shorts. Be prepared to be out in the sun. Bring sunscreen and a hat and wear comfortable shoes for divot-stomping at halftime.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, you may bring food and drink. Many people tailgate at polo. There are also drinks available at the field. The Social Tent usually has a nice spread.

Can I bring my dog?

You may bring your dog, but be sure that he is on a leash and under control at all times.

How can I buy a parking spot and become a social member?

Social memberships are $400 per year. You get admission to all the Sunday matches (approximately 20 between the spring and fall seasons) a reserved parking spot on the sidelines and two tickets to the Social Tent every Sunday. (Click here for a social membership application.)

I drove by Powder House Field and saw a game going on. Am I allowed drive in and watch?

Yes. Aiken Polo Club games and matches are open to the public. There is no charge to watch midweek matches.
